KAB Country's "Just Ask Me" Released

CBSS January 2010  Artist Of The Month - KAB Country

Who says music is not timeless? Who says you can't play, write, and record music for as long as you want to? Who says you can't gig anymore? Certainly not performing songwriters Ken Conklin, Al Lowden and Bob Davis who form KAB Country. Still picking and a grinning, the trio joined by pedal steel long timer Rex Raines have just released "Just Ask Me" a 12 song gem that is a fresh return to Traditional Country Music. These good ol boys still love playing and singing for anyone that will listen. And plenty of people are as they continue to perform  on a regular basis. They penned 11 new tunes and covered one, a little ditty titled "I Wanna Be A Dog". "Just Ask Me", is an entertaining heartfelt tribute to the fore fathers of Country Music which can be purchased at any of their shows or by contacting Bob Davis at KABCountry1@Gmail.com. Kim Franca In Production

Singer, songwriter, and voice instructor Kim Franca has begun production on her latest batch of songs. The tracks are to be distributed to several publishers nationally. The Tampa resident and NSAI member has drawn interest from several publishers including Disney for her heartfelt, authentic songwriting.

CBSS December 2009 Artist of the Month – Shane Meade TBT Press Release

The much anticipated sophomore album for Shane Meade will be released this month.  The soulful singer songwriter and catalyst behind the folk rock project, Shane Meade & the Sound, recently joined forces with Crystal Blue Sound Studios and recorded “Candle Lights & Conspiracies”, a double disc compilation of both acoustic and full-band tracks.

Shane is joined once again by Jason “Fil” Pate, a SMS fan favorite who serves as a jack of all trades on the album, performing on lead guitars, bass, banjo, mandolin, and percussion.  Fil Pate also co-produced this project along with Meade.

Melissa Brethauer "Waiting" Released!

Produced, mixed, mastered and recorded by Dominick Pages,  the debut CD from Melissa Brethauer has been shipped. The first copies of Melissa’s CD were sold at last week’s show in Ybor City (Tampa), Florida, now it’s available for online purchase, and the CD release party punctuates all of the excitement surrounding the release.

On this website’s Discography page, there is a link to Melissa’s page on CDBaby.com, which provides the ability to purchase the disc online.  This past weekend digstation.com had started selling digital downloads of the individual tracks and the whole album.  CD Baby’s digital partners are receiving “Waiting” as well, and soon fans everywhere will have the option of purchasing downloads from the likes of iTunes, Amazon.com (who will also sell the physical disc itself), and many others.

 Not many artists know who they truly are. Bishop Wayne, however, seems to be on that path. Spreading love and a positive message penetrates the core of his musical foundation,and the confidence that accompanies his message only strengthens these intentions. Growing up in the Virgin Islands gave Wayne early exposure to various genres, and his family were no strangers to music.

Performing singer, songwriter Tony Caruso is in production with his debut disc "RiverSong". The guitar playing songwriter has penned 10 new songs for the CD due to be released by the Holidays. Tony also performs with the bluegrass band "The Pickford Sundries" Fil Pate is producing the CD which promises to be a tasty Bluegrass, folk, and gypsy rock gem!

"Call Me Up Tomorrow" the new Wils Belton CD is now in production. Belton has written 15 new songs. Belton and producer Dominick Pages are excited about this batch. The tunes are melodic with positive messages and the chord structures are real ear pleasers.
